Driving product trial through a branded Tiktok AR Lens.

#Live Colour Change celebrates Schwartzkopf’s passion for hair, by inspiring their audience to create their own style and experiment with new and different looks with the bold and adventurous colours featured in the live colour range. 

We created a Branded Effect and Hashtag Challenge package, including 1x TopView and 1x One Day Max and supported by InFeed ads. 

The purpose of the branded effect was to allow the TikTok community to ‘try before they buy’ and ultimately to drive purchase consideration once they have interacted with the branded effect and seen what they look like with different hair colour.


TopView Ad

We developed a TopView ad featuring our creator community using the AR filter. 

The TopView reached over 2.5M unique users, and drove 368K clicks to the HTC page, demonstrating the effectiveness of this asset.

One Day Max

The One Day Max reached over 2.6M unique users. It used supers referencing the hashtag, and had a strong call to action inviting users to “join the challenge”. This was a great follow up to the original creative used in the TopView. 

By adding in more creators, the ODM also ensured the content remained fresh and engaging, tapping into different creators' audiences. This format drove 22K clicks through to the HTC page and 9% of the campaign's UGC was created on the day.

In Feed Ads Demo and Retargeting

The creator-led In-Feed demo’s delivered reach of +6M impressions. And, with their native and authentic tone, they tapped into platform best practices, driving strong results.
